1. When did you think about music as a career and what were your first steps into it?

I first thought about it when I was about six. The reality hit when I turned 13. My parents split up and I realised that music was an amazing therapy and told some inspiring comforting stories, so that inspired me to do the same for everyone going through hard times.

2. Best gig or gigs you've been to?

St Vincent in Iveagh Gardens, Dublin and Amanda Palmer in Auntie Annie's in Belfast in 2008. She had just been knocked down and her leg was broken and in a cast and she still put on an awe-inspiring performance.

3. Fantasy wedding/birthday party band of choice?

An amazing blues band or Linkin Park, Rage Against the Machine, Nirvana or Limp Bizkit.

4. The record you'd take to a desert island?

A mixtape CD featuring Tori Amos, Deftones, Nine Inch Nails, MS MR and Limp Bizkit.

5. And the book?

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho – and a Bible.

6. Top three films?

The Island, Avatar, Ex Machina.

7. Favourite authors?

Paulo Coelho and Louis Nowra.

8. Sports you most enjoy and top teams?

Running, wakeboarding and cycling. I don't really watch team sports but I enjoy football during the World Cup.

9. Ideal holiday destination?

Somewhere that allows you to be able to chill out with some sun mixed with outdoor activities and a friendly environment where you can get to know people too.

10. What's your favourite:

Dinner? Mexican.

Dessert? Cheesecake or chocolate.

Drink? Aloe vera juice – or Heineken.

11. Who is your best friend and how do you know each other?

I have a select few best friends who mean a lot to me. And my mum and sisters are always there for me.

12. Is there a God?

I believe there is a God – an awesome creative inspiring force that’s always there. You just need to be aware and tap into that.
