The Rubberbandits: Continental Fistfight, Saturday May 30, The Empire, Belfast

THE boyos are back in town – Limerick duo The Rubberbandits bring their highly acclaimed, loosely conceptual show Continental Fistfight to The Empire tomorrow night.

Blindboy Boatclub and Mr Chrome invite you to step into their world of placcy bag-hooded musical delinquency, a shadowy realm of subversive song and dance loosely based around a made-up musical gone wrong.

You'll know Horse Outside, naturally. Perhaps you've even punched the air to Up The Ra and been moved to 'court' by I Like To Shift Girls. Well, there's plenty more where they came from: Hey Mister, I Wanna Fight Your Father and Fight Me At Mass to name but three.

A full supporting bill will be provided on the night by locally sourced rapscallions Green Monkey, Bunny & The Banned Its and Gerard i2.

Let's get ready to rumble.
