1. When did you think about singing/songwriting as a career and what were your first steps into it?

My dad always wanted me to be a songwriter, so I started thinking about the idea of it around the age of 13.

2. Best gig or gigs you've been to?

Stray Cats, Jeff Buckley, Led Zeppelin.

3. Fantasy wedding/birthday party band of choice?

The original cast of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

4. The record you'd take to a desert island?

Blue by Joni Mitchell.

5. And the book?

Narcissus and Goldmund by Hermann Hesse.

6. Top three films?

Being Flynn, Talk To Her, Harvey.

7. Worst film you've seen?

Evita.

8. Favourite author?

Hermann Hesse.

9. Sports you most enjoy?

Swimming and tennis.

10. Ideal holiday destination?

The Greek islands.

11. Pet hate?

The sycophant.

12. What's your favourite:

Dinner? Fish and steamed vegetables.

Dessert? Rhubarb and apple crumble with custard.

Drink? A glass of Carmenere red or Rioja.

13. Who is your best friend and how do you know each other?

Oli Langford. He is my string arranger and best buddy – a brother.

14. Is there a God?

If there is then I wish he would stop playing hide and seek.
