THE mother of a west Belfast man who died in disputed circumstances at Belfast City Hospital has said she is "disappointed" by a police decision not to bring prosecutions. Sean Paul Carnahan (22) from the Beechmount area of west Belfast, died in July 2013 - five months after being admitted with a brain injury after trying to take his own life.

A POLICE officer has been disciplined after a Police Ombudsman investigation found that for 10 months he did “virtually nothing” to progress an investigation into an assault which left a Co Down schoolboy with extensive injuries.
