Children of alcoholics to benefit from lottery fund

PROBLEM: More than £35 million was spent on treating alcohol-related illnesses in hospitals across the north between 2004 and 2007

CHILDREN of alcoholic parents in Northern Ireland are to be among those supported by a new £5 million Lottery fund programme to tackle problem drinking.
