It’s about time broken back door was mended

NOT Every loser wins: The Galway team of 2001 (above) set a precedent by becoming the first county to win the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship after coming through the Qualifying system, a feat repeated by Kerry in 2006 (top right) and Tyrone in 2005 (bottom right) and again last year. The back-door format seems to have been weighted in favour of teams who are knocked out of their provincial championships and it may now be time to give the advantage back to the provincial champions
AS I have been suggesting for some time, the Qualifier system in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, as it is currently constructed, is unfair, period.
