What use referendums if the people won’t vote?

THESE are strange times we live in when the Tories go soft on terror and the recipients of EU largesse in the Republic reject the Lisbon Treaty. Turkeys for Christmas spring to mind. It was a bad omen sending Dustin as our entry into the Eurovision.
