Race for London mayor is reminiscent of reality show

ONE of the strangest things about London is the open antipathy towards Ken Livingstone by London taxi drivers. So strong is the invective that Livingstone must be relieved that many 'black' cabbies live outside London in the villages of Essex. The direct election of mayors for large cities is another 'New' Labour scheme gone pear-shaped.
