Mob threatens to burn home of community-watch activist

TRYING to help his community defeat antisocial behaviour left this man and his family facing an angry mob of 40 youths who threatened to burn his house down. So determined were the thugs to maintain control of the area that they even battled with police to get at his home.During the two-hour siege Martin Kelly's son was also savagely beaten, leaving him with head injuries and the imprint of a belt buckle visible on his back.
