Ireland’s first visually impaired priest ordained

IRELAND'S first priest with a profound visual impairment was ordained in the Co Antrim village of Portglenone yesterday. The ceremony in St Mary's Parish Church in the village saw 28-year-old Deacon Vincent Cushnahan make ordination vows elevating him to the ranks of Down and Connor diocese's priesthood.
