Order fall hits north’s firms hard

Falling orders and rising costs are hitting northern firms hard, a report has said. The latest monthly Purchasing Managers' Index report from the Ulster Bank shows that activity and new business declined for the fifth month running while inflation of input and output prices accelerated to new records.
